Jon Bourgeois
Greetings Reader.
My name is Jon and I’ve lived, worked and received a fairly gratifying education here in California’s beautiful San Fernando valley for the past thirty plus years. My curiosity is vast and my tastes are eclectic.
I didn’t start taking my writing seriously until about ten years ago. I began reading extensively and soon after took up the pen to try it myself. At first, I tinkered with poetic verse and that eventually evolved into political commentary with many different detours including scientific research and light fiction along the way. I write for the pure enjoyment that the written text affords. To me, writing represents my own personal catharsis. It is a series of journeys that begin with an inspirational thought and whose final destination culminates in the final sentence. The course to be traveled will forever be filed under the heading ‘Into The Unknown.’ Once completed, however, another pilgrimage is never far behind. Enjoy the ride.
